With the NFL season coming to a close with Super Bowl LX, it is time for my end-of-season power rankings, listing every team 32-1 based on their performance in the 2025-2026 season.
- Las Vegas Raiders
- With a washed-up Geno Smith at QB for the Raiders, this season was never going anywhere. Rookie running back Ashton Jeanty showed flashes, and the Raiders look to build for the future after securing the #1 overall pick, undoubtedly looking to draft Fernando Mendoza.
- New York Jets
- This season was abysmal to say the least for the Jets. With the hope of a new era with Justin Fields and Aaron Glenn as head coach, Jets fans had hope going into the season, just for it all to be destroyed by week 5.
- Tennessee Titans
- #1 overall pick Cam Ward showed potential to be great at times, but unfortunately didn’t have the talent on the offensive side of the ball to put up points and stay in games. With the hiring of a new head coach, Robert Salah, the Titans look to bounce back in the 26/27 season.
- Cleveland Browns
- The Browns’ season was full of ups and downs, using three quarterbacks throughout the course of the season, going from 41-year-old Joe Flacco to rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. The only reason the Browns were able to manage 5 wins was the insane play of DPOY Myles Garrett, breaking the NFL sack record.
- Arizona Cardinals
- The Cardinals had a very frustrating season, to say the least. Game after game, it felt, they lost by one possession. The 3-14 record attached to them doesn’t show how they truly played. With a better defense and fewer injuries, this team had the talent to be a playoff contender. Jacoby Brissett, the backup QB, stepped up, along with WR Michael Wilson, but unfortunately couldn’t get wins on the board.
- Washington Commanders
- The Commanders’ season fell apart after Jayden Daniels got seriously injured and everything came falling. Despite making the NFC Championship just last year, the Commanders could only manage a 5-12 record, a very disappointing result for the team.
- New York Giants
- The Giants experimented a lot this year, and were a fun team to watch. With personalities like Jameis Winston, Cam Skattebo, or Jaxson Dart, this team was electric, despite only winning four games. With that being said, they lost a lot of games brutally, blowing several fourth-quarter leads. Giants fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming years with a lot of young potential on their squad.
- Miami Dolphins
- The Dolphins had a brutal season, when many fans had high hopes for the team. A tough injury early in the season to Tyreek Hill derailed team morale, and when the Dolphins finally started to put a win streak together, it was too late to make a playoff push. A new era in Miami is to come after the benching of Tua Tagovailoa.
- Cincinnati Bengals
- The Bengals, similar to the Dolphins, had an unfortunate toe injury to QB Joe Burrow, which sidelined him for a couple months. Even when he came back, it was clear he wasn’t 100% and even mentioned in an interview that he was questioning if it was worth playing football if he wasn’t having fun. There are a lot of questions surrounding Burrow and the Bengals future after putting up a measly 6-11 record.
- Kansas City Chiefs
- The great dynasty of the Chiefs appears to have faded after this season. With a Mahomes ACL injury towards the end of the season, his healthiness remains a question for the 2026 season. Travis Kelce may announce his retirement soon, and the Chiefs need a good NFL draft to continue their success, after having a down year winning 6 games. A potential draft pick for the Chiefs is Jeremiyah Love, a flashy RB they could use if Mahomes is sidelined.
- New Orleans Saints
- The Saints gambled on Tyler Shough, rookie QB, and he delivered. Shough looked amazing when he played, leading the Saints on a win streak to close the season. Despite a very rough start, the Saints were able to rebound and finish with six wins, but more importantly, a bright future with Shough.
- Atlanta Falcons
- As it seems the Falcons always are, they were mid. Finishing 8-9, there isn’t too much to say about Atlanta. QB Michael Penix’s future seems bleak, and the Falcons are wasting Bijan Robinson’s prime.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- The Buccaneers started off hot and looked like a contender. Baker was getting MVP chants in Tampa Bay and all seemed good. However, they completely fell off and finished the season awfully, ending with a 8-9 record.
- Baltimore Ravens
- With an injury to Lamar Jackson that left him out for a couple months, the Ravens started off 1-5, and needed a miracle to make the playoffs. It looked like they were going to, until Tyler Loop missed a FG to send them to the playoffs. The Ravens finished 8-9 in a disappointing season.
- Dallas Cowboys
- The Cowboys season was highlighted by electric offense and lackluster defense. They consistently put points on the board because of the starpower of CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Dak Prescott, but countless times, their defense couldn’t keep them in the game. The Cowboys need a good draft, focusing on building up their defense for the 2026 season, and need to find a way to win playoff games before Dak Prescott’s tenure is over.
- Indianapolis Colts
- The Colts had what will be remembered as one of the biggest collapses in NFL history. Being the first team to start 7-1 and not finish with a winning record, everything fell apart for the Colts after Daniel Jones injury. After Jones got injured, nothing flowed, RB Jonathan Taylor stopped being productive, and the Colts signed Philip Rivers to play QB. The Colts will look to resign Daniel Jones and Alec Pierce and get back to that 7-1 start next year.
- Carolina Panthers
- Even if you aren’t a Panthers fan, you have to feel good for these guys. They snuck in the playoffs at 8-9, got a home playoff game, and competed with a great Rams team in a game that came down to the last play. The Panthers have a ton to look forward too, and have a bright future with Bryce Young at the helm.
- Minnesota Vikings
- The Vikings had a disappointing season compared to last year, only winning 9 games. Their “rookie” QB JJ McCarthy was the joke of the league, and was statistically one of the worst QBs in the NFL. However, the Vikings pulled out “9” wins and look to rebound next year.
- Detroit Lions
- The Lions only won 9 games in a down season for them compared to the last couple years. This was a surprise to me, as I had them as SB champions. The Lions will retain most of their players, and with a good draft, should be back to where they were a couple years ago.
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- The Steelers snuck into the playoffs, and got beaten in the Wild Card round by the Texans. There are a ton of questions to be asked about Pittsburgh’s future, after they fired long-time HC Mike Tomlin and QB Aaron Rodgers may retire.
- Green Bay Packers
- The Packers season ended in frustrating fashion yet again, blowing a big lead to the rival Bears in an embarrassing way. Despite that, the Packers had a solid season, notably trading for LB Micah Parsons. The Pack looks to get their get back next year and needs a strong draft to do so.
- Los Angeles Chargers
- The Chargers played well in the regular season, finishing 11-6. Unfortunately, come playoff time, they put up 3 points in a playoff game against the Patriots, and that definitely wasn’t enough to take them anywhere.
- Houston Texans
- The Texans started off 0-3, and finished 12-5. This season was a success for Houston, but unfortunately ended poorly in the playoffs when they ran into the Patriots. Houston will be good for a long time and the real question is when they can win the big game.
- Philadelphia Eagles
- The Eagles had a fine season by their standards, finishing 11-6. Saquon Barkley was not nearly as productive as he was last year, and that was a big factor in their previous success. The Eagles faced a tough 49ers team in the playoffs, and came up short in the end.
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- The Jaguars had a great regular season, and would be rated top five if they had won a playoff game. They played the Bills in the 1st round, and unfortunately fell just short. This season was a massive success under first year head coach Liam Coen, and the Jags look to continue their success next year.
- Chicago Bears
- This season was like a dream for the Bears. There were many legendary moments and last second comebacks in Chicago. The playoff win against the Packers after a desperation heave that was caught for a game winning touchdown put a bow on a magical season for the Bears. Unfortunately, they fell just short in overtime against the Rams in brutal fashion. Bears fans have a ton to look forward to next season.
- San Francisco 49ers
- The 49ers had a typical 49ers season. A successful regular season, but couldn’t win the big one in the playoffs. They were great until they ran into Seattle, a fierce defense that the 49ers had no chance against.
- Buffalo Bills
- The Bills went out in an absolutely heartbreaking fashion, losing on a controversial call to the Broncos. Despite that, the Bills had a successful regular season, and won one playoff game. The question in Buffalo is how long the Bills have to win a ring before the Josh Allen era is over.
- New England Patriots
- The Patriots had a fantastic season, despite what you think about the schedule they played. They had good wins, and under first year HC/COY Mike Vrabel, they went from 4-13 to 14-3 in one year, an incredibly difficult feat to accomplish. They fell short and felt dominated in the Super Bowl against the Seahawks. The reason for the low ranking despite playing in the Super Bowl is that I believe they would have lost to the Broncos with a healthy Bo Nix and the Rams were a better team but they didn’t play each other this year.
- Los Angeles Rams
- The Rams were an electric team and super fun to watch. They fell just short against the Seahawks in the NFC Championship but were nonetheless a scary team all year round. Backed by MVP Matt Stafford, the Rams will surely be back next year as a contender.
- Denver Broncos
- The Broncos finished 14-3 and were elite on both sides of the ball all year round. If not for a backup QB and bad conditions in the AFC championship, I think they would have gone to the SB and maybe won it all. The Broncos have a bright future with young QB Bo Nix and company.
- Seattle Seahawks
- The Seahawks looked like the best team in the NFL all season. Despite starting 0-1, they won 14 games and also their first Super Bowl since 2014. Behind OPOY Jaxon Smith-Njigba and QB Sam Darnold, the Seahawks dominated in 2025 and look to run in back in the 2026 season.
