Recently, the elections for 9th-grade CEO and representatives happened, with Jack Fagan elected as CEO, and Will Stirk and Ryan Spoerel as representatives. Today I’m interviewing Jack about his life at OP, and his motivations and plans for being on the Student Council.
- How long have you been at Oratory Prep for?
This is my third year going to Oratory.
- How do you feel about the OP community so far?
I love the community here because of the brotherhood and all of the friends that I have here. Everyone is so nice, and I am glad I have four more years with my class.
- What is your favorite part about going to this school?
My favorite part of school is seeing my friends. I have so many great friends here, and I look forward to being able to spend time with them every day.
- What encouraged you to run for the student council?
I was encouraged to run for student council because I like to be a leader of the school and help out my brothers by making the school the best it can be.
- What goals or plans do you have with your new positions on the student council?
I will listen to my classmates and will do my best to deliver the changes they want.
- What steps are you taking to achieve these goals?
I try to listen to everyone who talks to me and take every idea into consideration. I will also try to notice some flaws that I can help straighten out with the help of the student council.
A huge thanks to Jack for taking his time to answer my questions. It seems that he has great plans in mind for his future as CEO.
