We are officially half way through the NFL season. This season has been fun so far, and with a lot to look forward to for the rest of the year. In this article, I’m going to go over my top 5 NFL teams right now through 9 weeks.
- Denver Broncos (7-2)
This Bronco team continues to find ways to win games. They are currently on a six game win streak since starting the season 1-2. This team has mastered the art of winning ugly, which is big in the NFL, every game you play isn’t going to be perfect, but all that matters is you get that W. Quarterback Bo Nix is really starting to blossom into the franchise guy in Denver, it helps when you also have a star studded defense and great running game as well. This team can be you will most certainly see in the playoffs, don’t be surprised if they are hosting a game or two as well. I would like to see them continue to improve the passing game, but besides that everything looks great in Denver right now.
- Buffalo Bills (6-2)
Many NFL fans were worried about Buffalo after their little two game skid against the patriots and the falcons, but they have regrouped after the bye and look like the Bills we know and love. Beating Kansas City this past week was a statement win, and the offense seemed to be clicking again which is good to see. Running back James Cook is turning into a superstar running back right in front of our eyes, doing what he wants on almost every team he faces. This team is returning to form, for now they rest at 4.
- Seattle Seahawks (6-2)
Is this the legion of boom everyone used to talk about? Not quiet, but this team is cooking. Sam Darnold has been playing like a mvp these past couple weeks, especially last week when he threw four touchdowns before throwing an incomplete pass. This defense is also one of the best units in the league. Don’t forget about their offense either led by superstar wide receiver JSN still leads the league in receiving yards, and with a great two headed monster running game with Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet. This team is starting to peak and become a super bowl contender, hopefully they can maintain this football they are playing right now.
- Los Angeles Rams (6-2)
Wow, the Rams look good. This offense is absolutely stacked, Matthew Stafford playing he’s 25 right now, still slinging it at a very high level, with superstars Puka Nucua and Davnta Adams by his side. This team is dangerous. Along with the Seahawks, you can tell this team is starting to peak and play their best football, the NFC West will be a blood bath this year with these two juggernauts. I would like to see this time establish the running game a little more, if they can be as efficient running the ball as they are throwing, they can beat anyone in this league. Right now, they rest at two.
- Philadelphia Eagles (6-2)
Is there a way to win the bye week? Because that’s what the Eagles just did. They first become the 1 seed in the NFC without even playing a game, and then make some huge trades. Eagles had two issues going into the bye, and believed to have solved both of them. Fixing the concernback issue, with trading for Michael Carter II and former all pro Jaire Alexander. And fixing the edge rusher issue by signing Brandom Graham and trading for Jaelan Phillips. Not to mention their dominating wins over the vikings and giants, Jalen Hurts is quietly having one of his best seasons yet, with his touchdown to interception ratio being 20 to 1. This team has set themselves up again for a deep push, and their Monday Night Football matchup versus Green Bay next week will tell us a lot.

The list is fluid, the teams will continue to change based off their matchups in the following weeks.
