The 2025-2026 bowling season is starting soon —how will our team perform? Last season, we did incredibly well, beating six different teams 7-0 and placing sixth in our state group. We had many experienced players, including last year’s captains, Ryan Grapkowski and Keegan Murphy, who got high scores, bringing us to victory. Despite the loss of these great players, I believe our team has the potential to continue with our success. Our returning players have all shown great skill and potential to improve, and they are all eager to go back to the lanes and grab high scores. With enough practice and the guidance of our coach and new captains, Chris Rotolo and Donald Yapczenski, our team might just have another very successful season.
However, one thing the bowling team still needs is more players. If you aren’t playing any winter sports, then you should think about joining. It’s a really fun sport to play, and the team is very enjoyable to bowl with. Coach Chambers is really nice and supportive and will always be there to help you improve. Even if you do badly in the beginning, you can always improve with the help of your teammates and coach. Games are on Mondays and Wednesdays, and we sometimes have practice on Friday. We take the bus to and from the lanes and bowl for a few hours. The bus rides are a bit long, but it’s a great time to socialize with your teammates. I’ve been on the team for two years, and I’ve made very good friends and have amazing memories of all our games and practices. If you join us, you can help return the team to glory- this year and in all the years to come.
