On April 22, 2024, Oratory Prep had their final guest speaker, Jesse LeBeau. Jesse would come and give not only an influential talk, but also set up a humorous display of students going against each other in basketball. He  is known as a motivational speaker who has spoken to many young students across the country. Jesse started his talk on the concept of leadership and following your dreams. A key slogan students at OP will always remember is  “just do it, ” used to influence many students and inspire them to achieve their goals. Jesse even did a chaotic challenge where he dropped money on the ground for several people to grab, before launching into a lesson on going straight for something.

After that, he entertained everyone by pitting Nick Derosa against John Paul Scaramella in a short basketball one-on-one. As soon as Nick got the ball he was able to drain a shot far away, right over JP, leaving the Rowdies in excitement. Jesse has definitely made an impact on all of Oratory and inspired them to continue following their goals and dreams.
