Juan Soto is a 25-year-old player who has already displayed himself as one of the best in the game. The Yankees went out and made a blockbuster trade for him with only one year left on his current contract. The Yankees know what he can do, and everyone is excited to see what he can do in the Bronx. 

He has not disappointed so far this season. In his four Spring Training games, he is 6 for 9 with three homers, two doubles, and one single. He has seven RBIs and has been hitting the ball so hard. This electric play so far has changed the overall vibe of the team, in the clubhouse, and in terms of fan excitement. Everyone seems to be happy and having fun which has resulted in great play. I think it is safe to say Cashman will do everything possible to extend Juan Soto as a Yankee for life after a Yankees World Series run.
