After another crazy week of College Basketball, I have decided to rank the Top 10 teams for Week 13 as we are getting closer each week to Selection Sunday.

  1. Purdue (19-2) – Purdue has dominated the Big Ten as of late and looks like the best team in college basketball as of right now.
  2. UConn (18-2) – Uconn is playing their best ball right now, coming after a dominating 40+ point win against Xavier on Sunday. UConn also owns an important neutral site win versus UNC.
  3. North Carolina (17-3) – UNC has rolled through the ACC so far, being 9-0 in conference play. Armando Bacot is the X factor of this team, they need him to step up in this stretch.
  4. Houston (18-2) – Houston had a slow start in their first year in the Big 12 losing 2 games. But since then they have won 4 straight and seem comfortable.
  5. Tennessee (15-4) – This is Dalton Knecht’s team and the Vols continue to get big wins, with a big week coming up with South Carolina and Kentucky.
  6. Wisconsin (16-4) – Wisconsin is #1 in the Big Ten standings and looks like a very complete team. Even though they were dominated by Providence and Tennessee in November, they have saved their best basketball for Conference play. Wisconsin plays Purdue at home on Sunday.
  7. Kansas (16-4) – Kansas cannot win on the road and it is a problem they need to fix as soon as possible. They have tons have talent but this has been a rough stretch for the Jayhawks.
  8. Kentucky (15-4) – Kentucky went 1-1 last week, a bad loss to South Carolina but bounced back against Arkansas in a very loud environment.
  9. Iowa State (16-4) – Iowa State has wins over both #4 Houston and #7 Kansas. They don’t have a star player but are very balanced and have many guys that can beat you.
  10. Duke (15-4) – Duke won both games this week but has a tough road stretch this week with Virginia Tech on Monday and UNC on Saturday. The Blue Devils have to win at least one game to stay in the Top 15 conversation.
