The Oratory prep bowling season has been going on since the end of November, in which the varsity team has achieved some great successes. The Rams currently hold a 7-2 record in their division where they sit second place on the standings. OP’s average in each match is currently a respectable 638. The current player with the highest average is Ryan Grapkowski with a score of 151 and the current high game was by Keegan Murphy with a score of 201. Both players have been on varsity since their freshmen year, where that was the last year they had won a game. Before this season the team did not win a single game, and a 6-2 record shows the boys have improved greatly throughout the offseason. They Rams started off hot against Plainfield on December 18, as they went undefeated with a score of 5-0. Next they traveled to match against Johnathan Dayton, winning by a score of 4-3 on January 3. Their last win came against in county opponent, Roselle Catholic, as they defeated them 7-0 almost a week ago. The season currently has been going great for varsity and they will most likely continue their successes.
