Fortnite, a worldwide game, has gone from a small game to a household name. Throughout the years the game has slowly lost popularity going from millions of active users to only thousands. To gain back popularity, the development team decided to use the power of nostalgia. On the third of November, the original Fortnite map came back, bringing back old items, old landing spots, and old memories. Due to this, more than 45 million players have come back to the game. At one point 7 million people were playing at once. Sadly none of this will last forever.
December 2, 2023, will be the very last day of the original map until it is gone forever. Due to December 2nd being the very last day, long-time players have decided to take it upon themselves to be able to remember this original form of the game for as long as possible. This is possible through a Fortnite Ceasefire, in which the players can freely explore the map and remember the places where they once played. Sadly after this many old players will eventually leave the game. So the real question is, will you use December 2nd as your last day to roam the map, or will you drop a new elimination record?
