On Friday, the Rams faced Pingry at home in an out of conference matchup. Pingry came into the game after a loss in the semifinal round of their county tournament against Ridge. Since the Rams have not had their country tournament, they still have everything on the table for their season. On the bump for the Rams was junior ace Micheal Greco, who has been absolutely shoving after facing adversity at the start of the season. The Rams would find themselves in a hole after the first inning after Pingry’s Jake Francis, a Villanova commit, would hit an inside the park homerun to put them up 2-0 after the first inning. In the bottom half of the second, Senior Matt Seelagy would put one in play to cut the Pingry lead in half 2-1.  The Rams scoring would not be done yet, as Senior Captain Anthony Bibbo put one over the fence to tie the game at 2, for his second of the season. Victor Larach would then hit an RBI double to give the Rams the lead, in which one more would come across the board as well. The Rams would be in control going into the bottom of the sixth, where they would scratch two more across the board thanks to a Noah Falcon single, where two more runs extended their lead to 6-2. Pingry would later tie the game in the last inning, in which the game eventually went into extra innings. Greco left the game after the 7th, finishing with 10 k’s, allowing six hits, six runs, and four walks. Junior MJ Cohen would come into the game, and would walk the lead off man, in which he would eventually advance to third. Cohen would proceed to get two outs, and strike out the last batter, leaving the game with a pumped up celebration. Kevin Colandrea would lead off for the Rams with a walk, and would steal second immediately. Colandrea proceeded to advance to third on a passed ball, setting up the winning run for Matt Seelagy. Seelagy would hit the ball up the middle driving in Colandrea, giving the Rams their fifth win of the season, and their third walkoff win.
