On paper, the Oratory JV squad has had an unsuccessful season. Just before the county tournament, the team finished with a losing record with multiple sizeable losses. However, the OP community should be optimistic about the JV Rams. The Rams have a winning streak, and their most recent loss was to the undefeated Delbarton by just ten points! It seemed as if their season changed when they played Cranford at home. A Cranford player was talking trash all game to the coaches and players – but OP fought back. Oratory scored their season-high on points with the season’s leading scorer, Ryan Fay, not appearing in the box score for points. Notable is that OP wasn’t not facing a bad team either as when these teams clashed at the beginning of the year, OP lost by a sizeable margin. Although the record doesn’t show, Oratory has improved a lot, and they will be ready to go into the county tournament.
