Giants Season in Review

Ryan Santoriello, Staff Writer

The New York Giants finished 9-7-1, and in third place in the NFC East. Typically finishing third in your division wouldn’t earn you a spot in the playoffs — especially in the NFC East. The NFC East was very competitive this year, and three of four teams made the playoffs, with the Giants being one of them.

Now let’s talk about Coach Daboll.  Daboll got signed to the head coaching job after many great jobs on other teams. He leads this team in an intense and demanding manner. The offense and defense listened and trusted him throughout the good and bad times.

Some of the star players on this team include Danny Dimes, Saquads, and Sexy Dexty. Danny and Saquon easily had their best seasons as pro players. They were both fighting in a contract year, and they both deserve to be added back to the roster after their seasons. Dexty leads the defense from the D-line. He earned himself a spot on the NFC pro bowl reserves.

All in all, in a rebuilding year they exceed expectations, and I am happy. They are set for a big season next year.
