With a successful season last year, the middle school basketball team is back in action. This team consists of many eighth graders who have greatly impacted the team so far. The middle school team is led by new coach Mr. Maybe, who looks to be back into the coaching mix this year. After losing in the finals last year, the middle school Rams hope to be back in the same position this year, but instead finish the job this time around. The first game of the season the middle school team played The Peck School, in which they won by a large margin. The next game was against Morristown Beard in which they dropped a tough by only five points. The next game the middle school would come back and beat Far Hills Country Day by ten points to improve their record to 2-1. Their key players consist of Logan Costello, Jesse Ibiefo, Luke Cusack, and Jonah Bradley, each of whom contribute whether it is rebounding or scoring tough buckets. The middle school team looks to play Gill St Bernard’s at home in their next competition on January 19th.
