OP Lacrosse Jumps Out to a 3-1 Start

OP Lax is having a strong start to its season. The varsity team has started out 3-1 with a win over Governor Livingston, Cedar Grove, and an absolute plundering of Dayton. Goalie Alex Parisi is having a fantastic start to his season with 39 saves. In the absolute plundering of Dayton, Harrison Lloyd and Mark Jacobello each netted 4 goals with Lloyd added 3 assists and Jacobello getting 2. Chris McNiff and Andy Nappi each netted 3 goals along side 2 assists. Captain Matt Terraciano netted 1 goal with 6 assists, while Gus Russo netted another with a single assist, Kyle Gann netted one with 2 assists, and Garret Hall scored another goal.

In a 9-6 victory over GL, Chris McNiff scored a hat trick adding on an assist, Kyle Gann netted 2 with an assist, Garret Hall and Mark Jacobello each scored one too and Matt Terraciano added on 2 assists.

Oratory defeated Cedar Grove 10-9 in a nail biter. Goals came from Harrison Lloyd (3), Mark Jacobello (2), Kyle Gann (2), Vin Gatto (2), and Matt Terraciano (1). Assists came from Harrison Lloyd (1), Russ Nelson (1), Mark Jacobello (1), Chris McNiff (2), and Matt Terraciano, (3). Alex Parisi also had 12 vital saves to propel the Rams to the win.
