An Impressive Victory on OP’s Election Day

Enzo Sarango, Staff Writer

As many of you may already know, Brody Henderson has high expectations after winning the extremely tight elections for 9th Grade CEO. Fellow writer George Fagan broke down the four candidates in a well-written article prior to the election. In an interview with Brody Henderson, fellow Omega writer, and 9th Grade CEO, after the election results came out, he said, “I feel honored to win and have a chance to serve the freshman class of Oratory.” Many people thought Brody was the best option because of his involvement in our school community and his ability to go out of his way to interact with his peers to gain an insight into what they would like him to do if elected. For example, prior to his Student Council speech, Brody made sure to take everyone’s ideas into consideration, which set him apart from other candidates. Brody talked about numerous ideas, such as having sports tournaments, having student-favorite snacks in the vending machine, and even having a picnic. On top of his extremely creative ideas, Brody made humorous posters that were displayed around the school, drawing him more attention. While it is easier said than done, the freshman class is convinced that Brody is their guy to make this school year the most fun and enjoyable.
