Edward Hulme, age 43, and Damian Leblanc, age 39, who were both from Cape May NJ, have been arrested for three different bank robberies and attempting to a couple more. The first robbery took place at the Sturdy Savings Bank on State Highway 47 in Dennisville, NJ. It is presumed that the thief, male, entered the bank and handed a note to the bank teller asking for the money to be placed on the counter. The teller complied and the two suspects left with the money in a Honda CRV. Shortly after on January 7, 2020, the TD Bank in Marmora, NJ was also robbed and on January 11, the TD Bank in Cape May Court House, NJ was robbed (NJSP).

Detectives also eventually discovered that one of the suspects who left the scene in the Honda CRV attempted to commit burglaries at the First Bank of Sea Isle and the Franklin Savings Bank in Oceanview, NJ. After a long investigation, the police were able to link Hulme and Leblanc to the robberies through affiliation to each other and the car. After the officials attained a search warrant they seized heroin, Xanax bars, and evening clothing worn by Hulme that was the same clothing identified as being worn by Hulme during the robberies (NJSP).
