Youth is often times a valuable asset, but time and time again experience and age can be the keys for success. In today’s sports world its the veterans that are taking charge. LeBron James and Tom Brady have been two of the most dominant players in their respective sports over the last few decades winning eleven championships between the two. At thirty six years old LeBron James is averaging 25 points per game, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists per game and leading his team to the current best record in the NBA showing no signs of slowing down after winning the championship last season. Similarly, at forty three years old Tom Brady had an MVP caliber season this year and also took home the championship trophy in his 21st season in the NFL. This continued greatness by both players simply shows that age is nothing but a number, and hard work and dedication to the game will triumph over any possible obstacle.
