Oratory Prep vs Arthur L. Johnson Lacrosse

Jonathan deMontagnac, Staff Writer

Yesterday, Oratory Prep faced off against A.L. Johnson for the second time this year. The first time that Oratory played this team they lost, but they were missing key players such as Andrea Fiorenza and Jonathan deMontaganc. Before this game Oratory knew it was going to be a battle. Going into half time, this was a low scoring game with both teams only scoring three goals, scored by Andrea Fiorenza (2 goals) and Matt Terraciano (1 goal). But in the second half, Oratory leaned on it’s defense to hold Johnson’s offense. Jack Holt had multiple key saves and the OP defense only allowed the Johnson offense to score two goals in the entire second half. Yet this was not enough, Oratory lost the game 5 – 3.
