On Saturday, Oratory Prep Lacrosse faced off against Saint Joes (Metuchen) at Cavalero field. Oratory came out with a bang by quickly scoring two goals in the first 5 minutes of the game. This momentum carried through to Oratory’s defense who did not let up a goal in the first quarter. Sadly, Saint Joes caught up in the second quarter, scoring three unanswered goals. Even though Oratory fought to catch up, they were not able to due to a series of missed passes and blotched clears. The final score of the game was Oratory, 5 Saint Joes,  9. Oratory’s five goals were scored by Matt Garibaldi (3 goals), Luke Jacobello (1 goal), and Andrea Fiorenza (1 goal).
