An Interview with sophmore basketball player, Christopher Morrison.

Jason Chacon, Staff Writer

As the basketball season approaches many players begin to touch up their skills and get into the swing of things for the season. I myself have begun to hit the gym and put some shots up. However, there are some players that haven’t stopped since last season and continued to put in the work even while they were not in season. One of these athletes is Christopher Morrison, class of 2021. When asked how the team is looking he replied: “we look good, although we lost a few seniors last year our coaches are great and I’m excited for a great season.” Last season Chris played for JV but then was moved up to varsity, this year he is playing on only Varsity, saying “I am hyped to play for varsity this year, I’m ready to put my all into this team and leave my all on the court.” Last year Varsity Basketball went 9 and 14 and this year look to improve. Oratory Basketball has a strong coaching staff along with a still new gym and a great group of guys that have their backs, the rowdies. I along with many of other people in the school are looking forward to the season and games, especially “Hypemas.”
