Oratory Prep Cross Country had a successful meet at Holmdel. Oratory finished sixth in Varsity Division F, which consisted of many competitive schools. Max Russo led the XC team with a 16:52 in 5th place. Next came Fernando Aviles with a top 25 placement with a 17:35, closely followed by Eric Rhines with an 18:11. Next, closing out the varsity pack, Jack Sula, Brendan Kleinle, Kevin DePoortere and Alex Rickard between 18:59 and 19:26. This was a successful meet at one of the most difficult courses in the state.

In the JV Division E, Oratory Prep placed first. Chris Uustal led Oratory with an 18:57 and finished second overall. He was followed by Will Heffernan, who finished third with a 19:54. Closing out the JV Pack was Cole Noss, Ciercan Bowler, Sean Brennan, Jake McChesney, and Brian McKegney all around 20:010. Overall, we had a stronghold in the top 30.

In the Varsity Race A, we saw almost 30 kids all under 17:00. Additionally, we saw Christian Brothers Academy win the race. By the end of the season, we hope to be competitive with schools such as Mendham, who finished second. Overall, the Shore Coaches was one of our better meets.
