Here at Oratory, we have a variety of amazing teachers. We have Mr. Maybe and his corny jokes, Mr. Crum and his slightly less corny jokes, Mrs. Gribbin and her sarcasm, and one of my personal favorites, Mr. McCrystal. They are all great, but Mr. McCrystal is just too great. I have come to see that Mr. McCrystal is so “great” because he is Gandalf the Great. Now I know you’re thinking “Ryan you’re an idiot Gandalf is tall, has a long grey beard, and wears a cloak.” Yes, I know all this to be true but this is where the magic comes in: he knew I was getting close to uncovering his secret so he has disguised himself. To start, he shaved his beard because he saw the future and he knew that I would expose him to the world and he would be taken by the government to be studied. He uses his magic to stay young and his cloak is simply too big to fit him since he purposely made himself shorter. According to my poll, 64.6% of the school agree with my statement that Mr. McCrystal is actually Gandalf the Great.  The other 35.4% of the school is simply under his spell and are not able to hit the yes button. Hopefully, people are able to open their eyes and realize that I am right.
