Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, and good night, dear readers. I come to you this week with the third issue of Time Wasting. This week, I give you the first paperback collection of  Sam Wilson: Captain America. That’s right reader, in the comics Steve Rogers is no longer Captain America, he is now an old man. And so he passed the shield along to one of his best friends, that being Sam Wilson (formerly known as he Falcon).

Sam Wilson’s take on Captain America is much more different than Steve’s. He actually gets involved in America’s political issues, unlike Steve. Much to Fox and Friends’ chagrin he has dealt with illegal immigration, government leaks (à la Edward Snowden), and he took on Wall Street. Each proved to be very interesting stories, especially the Wall Street story. Writer Nick Spencer cleverly has had Captain America deal with so many political problems in America today, all through the clever guise of marvel’s villain group, Serpent Solutions.

I highly suggest to that you pick up Sam Wilson: Captain America. It’s a great book with great action, great humor, and great subject matter that really does pertain to our current situations in America.
