Alex Sansano: A Junior Perspective

Alex Sansano: A Junior Perspective

Richard Imossi, Staff Writer

Recently, I got to speak with Alex Sansano, a junior at Oratory, and ask him a few questions.

How does this year’s workload compare to last year?

  • Junior year has definitely brought more work than sophomore year, but it was expected.  The work is not necessarily harder, it just requires more time and effort to be completed.

Going into junior year, did you think it would be harder or easier than it really is?

  • I thought this year was going to be incredibly difficult and I would have had no time to enjoy my life outside of school. While it still has been time consuming, it hasn’t been as bad as I thought it would be.

What activities/clubs are you involved in at Oratory?

  • I’m in several clubs, including the Ecology Club and Sports Enthusiast Club. I am also part of the Student Alumni Ambassadors.

Of all the classes you have taken at Oratory, which one has been your favorite and why?

  • My favorite class has probably been Spanish. I’m very interested in learning another language and being able to learn about another culture.

If you were stranded on an island and could only bring three things, what would they be?

  • A boat, a knife, and a portable water purification system.

Since it is almost Christmas, what is one item that is on your Christmas list?

  • A 1996 Michael Jordan All-Star jersey.

If you were able to meet any person, who would it be and why?

  • I’d probably want to meet the Brazilian soccer star, Ronaldinho. He is insanely skilled at soccer and he is someone that I have always wanted to meet and play soccer with.
