There was only one game this week for Lower School basketball. This game was a JV game. The JV team played Peck. The JV team had a 1 game winning streak under its belt. To come out Peck hit shot after shot. Down by 9 Joseph Cranley, Finn Collins, and Chris Kraemer hit shot after shot to come back and help the team lead 18-17 at the break. In the second half the Rams played incredible defense pressuring Peck to turnover the ball many times. With a great offense the Rams got Peck in foul trouble fouling out many players from Peck. This got the Rams in the bonus and let Oratory shoot free throws. This and an aggressive drive and kick game from Ty Tucker who tallied up many assists, and points helped Oratory outscore Peck 30-15 in the second. Aggressive and impressive play in the second half is what helps this squad win. Teamwork and movement down low doesn’t hurt either. The final; 48-32 Oratory. This is getting the Ls JV team on a run towards the end of the year. Any wins toward the end of a season are key.
