Oratory Prep’s Spirit Week, which happens every October, is rapidly approaching and will begin on the 10th of October. This week is filled with fun events such as the dodgeball tournament, the talent show, and a magician as a guest entertainer. In addition, every day is a dress down day with a different theme. These themes consist of sports jerseys, red white and blue, and specific colors for each grade.
Spirit Week starts with October 10th, the day of the dodgeball tournament. The dodgeball tournament is a very fun and exciting event where students form their own teams consisting of up to 15 people to compete with other teams in games of dodgeball. Anybody can form a team and get others to join them. If you’re not part of a team right now, what are you waiting for? Find a team to join or create your own and get whoever you can to join. You don’t need to be skilled or athletic to participate. Anybody can play and have a great time. Signups are due on October 3rd
so be sure to make your teams and sign up soon!
Another big event you should sign up for is the talent show, taking place on October 17th. In this event, students and even faculty at Oratory can demonstrate their talents and skills in front of the entire school. There will be three judges to rate the acts. If you have a skill you think is entertaining to watch, then think about showing it! It’s a very fun time for everyone, and you can make it even better if you sign up.
