Fantasy football season is back, and The Boys Last Ride Fantasy League is already living up to the hype. This league, featuring Devon Fernandez, Kevin Geiger, Sebastian Carlo, Luke Gardner, Noah Tockarshewsky, Ethan Garcia, Derek Zapata, Jack Ebert, Roinn Peterson, Connor Odendahl, Nolan Gabel, and Lucas Costa, is known as one of the most competitive school leagues around—and Week 1 did not disappoint.
The Trade Heard Around the League
Days before opening kickoff, the league was shaken by a blockbuster deal. Kevin shipped off Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, and Dak Prescott to Noah in exchange for Jayden Daniels, Brock Bowers, Tetairoa McMillan, Emeka Egbuka, and the Houston running backs. The move immediately sparked controversy: some argued Noah overpaid for Jefferson, while others questioned why Kevin would part with his superstar wideout at all. Either way, it set the tone for a dramatic season.
Thursday & Friday Warm-Ups
Thursday’s Cowboys–Eagles clash didn’t bring many fireworks, though Jalen Hurts and Javonte Williams each posted solid 20-point outings. Meanwhile, Luke Gardner was left reeling after AJ Brown managed only 1.8 points, putting him in an early hole.
Friday’s Chiefs–Chargers game in Brazil delivered more chaos. Xavier Worthy, Roinn Peterson’s early-round draft pick, left with an injury and scored zero. Roinn was furious, claiming the league was “rigged,” and his Week 1 chances immediately took a hit.

By Sunday, anticipation was sky-high as everyone’s lineups finally hit the field. Here’s how the action shook out:
Game of the Week: Kevin vs Noah
Noah gained a small edge early behind Saquon Barkley and Dak Prescott, but Kevin stormed back. Fueled by Emeka Egbuka and James Cook, Kevin rolled to a comfortable win and immediately justified his bold trade.
Luke vs Jack
Despite AJ Brown’s dud, Luke roared back thanks to a 40-point explosion from Josh Allen, stealing the win from Jack in dramatic fashion.
Connor vs Seb
Seb nearly pulled off a huge comeback with Zay Flowers, but Connor held on in a nail-biter.
Lucas vs Derek
In one of the quieter matchups of the week, Lucas handled business and defeated Derek without much drama.
Devon vs Nolan
Devon dominated start to finish, cruising past Nolan—whose team managed just 81 points, the lowest total of the week.
Ethan vs Roinn
Roinn’s chances vanished with Worthy’s injury, and Ethan capitalized for the W.
