Amos, our resident school turtle for the last 10 years, passed away happy and content in his tank in Room 104 of Bain Hall on November 20, 2023. He previously belonged to Joseph Beninati, Class of 2006, before he was rehomed here at OP in 2013. Many alumni remember Amos for his sunny personality, speedy gate, and love of Minos. He is estimated to be close to 40 years old.  Amos had just returned to school this year after 3 years spent at Mrs. Pasnik’s house as a COVID refugee.
