A Feel Good Article!

Merriam Webster defines the term “happy” as, “enjoying or characterized by well-being and contentment.” Here at OP, we are noticing a considerable spike in happiness amongst our sophomore class. There is nothing but smiles in the hallways, especially during lunch, which may correspond with the excellent lunch menu we had this week. According to Ryan Grapkowski, “I have entered an upbeat period, as Oratory has provided a safe haven for my education,” and another message from Joshua D’Cruz claims, “Last year I was pretty stressed, but right now things are kind of mid –a relatively good state for me!” Besides the normal stress of studying that we have to endure this year, we have found ways to comfort each other. Although we may do poorly on a quiz/test or have one of those “low energy days,” we put on a brave face and make each other laugh. That is one of the beautiful things about OP. Although we are often characterized as “wise fools,” we sure do know how to have a great time, and with that, the sophomore class is ready to have a glorious year! – Kanayo Iwelumo (the following images were totally not forced)
