The Fortnite “Boogie-Down”

So you definitely heard of Fortnite Battle Royale by now. If not, then whatever; keep reading this anyway, because this is a juicy article. The developers of Fortnite, Epic Games, have announced a social media contest, with entries being allowed for submission until April 10th. The social media contest allows one person, or a group of friends, to make a video of a dance or move, of which will be posted on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with the hashtag #boogiedown. Each submission will be reviewed carefully to see if you qualify. Upon qualifying, your submission will be judged on three criteria. First, does your dance represent how much fun Fortnite is? Second, is it original and full of quality? Third, is the dance creative and unique? A maximum of 60 points can be given for each criteria.

There will be 100 Winners total, and one Grand Prize Winner out of those 100 Winners. The Grand Prize Winner will receive all possible prizes, and his/her dance will be created as an emote in the game. So far, famous people like Ninja’s wife and TSM_Myth have submitted their dances. Will I enter this dance competition? Definitely! I’ve already got a complex dance to do for the contest, but I’ve yet to practice it. Will you do the “boogie-down”?
