Cam Magee, Student Council Vice President

To my dear classmates,

I am well, I hope you are too. I understand that you all are under a lot of stress because of application deadlines, classwork, and employment, but the rapid speed of the ram does not stop for our personal troubles. Oratory and its student council is offering a tremendous amount of opportunity for fun, amusement, laughter, friendship, and pride. My personal favorite time of the year is Christmas at Oratory and you all know how much of a blast it truly is. There is going to be music, gifts, and joy; how can anything part of it get any better, right? So with all this being said, I strongly encourage for you all to come in that day (December 18th). Also, the student council is running a film contest this winter. This is something new and should be a blast, so we are trying to keep things fresh and dope. Even if you think your idea is not very good or could use some help, you should tell a senior student council member or Nick Browne your idea and see where you can go with it. I believe we have some little Martin Scorseses in this class. Lets take home an oscar! Lastly, I would like to commend you guys for your continuing spirit and pride for Oratory. I see many of you at the hockey games and participating in tag days, but we could always use some more! Ok one more thing. Trust me, the games are a blast. I have been going to them since 7th grade and as seniors, we get to lead the madness. Thanks guys for the three and a half years, let’s make this last half something absolutely sick.

-Your Bud,

Cam
