Everyone is getting injured and it is destroying fantasy owners. However, the waiver pickups are bringing some teams back to life. First, Andrew Luck is injured again with a lacerated kidney. Malcom Floyd is out with a torn labrum. Dion Lewis was put on the injured reserve after he tore his ACL. Teddy Bridgewater was hit hard causing him to undergo concussion testing. Some people are still fighting injuries like DeAngelo Williams.

Speaking of DeAngelo Williams… here are the monster leaders of week 9.

First, Delanie Walker led the tight end spot with 95 yards and 2 touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers had a great game with 369 yards and 3 touchdowns. Ninety-nine of those yards and a huge touchdown went to Randall Cobb who had a depressing last 3 weeks. DeAngelo Williams proved he was a great backup for Le’Veon Bell with 170 yards, two touchdowns and 55 receiving yards. Just like DeAngelo Williams, Jeremy Langford showed he is a worthy backup for Matt Forte with 72 yards, one touchdown and 70 receiving yards. Devonta Freeman played more like a wide receiver with only 12 rushing yards but 67 receiving yards and one touchdown. Michael Crabtree had another good game with 108 yards and two touchdowns. Antonio Brown had 284 yards – a record setting game for the Steelers franchise. Marcus Mariota had 371 yards and four touchdowns. Sammy Watkins had 168 yards and one touchdown, however he did injure his ankle during the game. Jordan Matthews had a breakout game with 131 yards and one touchdown.

Fantasy has taken a turn with many injuries. So here is a surprising list of fantasy leaders. For quarterback, Matthew Stafford is going to have a great game after coming off a long resting bye week. Jeremy Langford the backup for Matt Forte will destroy the St. Louis defense. In the wide receiver spot, Odell Beckham Jr. will have an amazing game during the high-scoring game of the Patriots and the Giants. Also, if you are trying to find a backup wide receiver, Dorial Green-Beckham is a great pickup. With Marcus Mariota heating up and Kendall Wright being injured, he will see more receptions and will be a good fantasy pick up.
