The JV Baseball Rams play their first game on Saturday against Rahway at 9:30 at Cavalero Memorial Field. The JV Rams are a team mixed with both JV veterans and JV new faces. The Rams are lucky to have veterans on all three aspects of defense. This includes outfield, infield, and pitching. While the Rams have veterans, they have a lot of new faces from the freshmen level as well. The good news is that they have played together and each player knows what their teammate brings to the table.

The Rams have many solid starting pitchers with prior JV experience or solid freshman baseball pitching experience. The JV Rams have depth at many positions and most of the players on the team are elusive and are skilled at two positions. The Rams are coached by the always charismatic and enthusiastic Mr. Maybe (one of OP’s finest teachers and coaches). I will provide weekly updates throughout our season.
