Joeseph Meade, Staff Writer

Michael Fischer, better known as “Fisch,” is currently a 9th Grader here at Oratory Prep. He, like my previous interviewee, Joe Donaher, went to Immaculate Conception in Annandale prior to attending Oratory. Also similar to my previous interviewee, Michael was on the cross country team and is currently on the freshman basketball team. I interviewed Michael the day that the new building started to serve lunch. I would like to thank Michael for taking five minutes to talk to me because he is a busy man.

Me: So before we begin what is your favorite nickname that nearly everyone calls you?

Fisch: My favorite nickname I am called is “Fisch”.

Me: How has your freshman year been going?

Fisch: Great. I like this schedule better than my old school’s because it buys me more time to figure out when to do my work.

Me: What is your favorite class?

Fisch: My favorite class has to be World History with Mr.McCrystal because he incorporates current events with past history which is very helpful to understand the subject matter.

Me: Besides studying, basketball, and running what do you like to do?

Fisch: I like to watch my favorite team the New York Knicks because I love watching my favorite player Kristaps Porzingis.

Me: What did you think of the lunch in the new building?

Fisch: The lunch was very good, I had chicken and french fries. I was pleasantly surprised by this.

Me: Besides Mr. McCrystal who is your favorite teacher?

Fisch: Mr. Gaertner.

Me: Besides your studies, what have you done this year that you are most proud of?

Fisch: My varsity letter from Cross Country was a great honor. I gotta go to practice now thanks for interviewing me.

Me: Thanks Fisch
